Electric Vehicles
1901. Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to provide an update on whether there are electric car charging points at all our national parks; the parks that have fast charging points; whether these chargers are available to the public; if not, whether he has plans to make them available; and if he will make a statement on the matter, [62914/26]

The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) of my Department is responsible for the management of eight National Parks. Public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure is currently available across these parks, comprising 25 charging points, including nine fast and semi-fast chargers.
The provision of public EV charging services is currently subject to disruption due to a change in services. The NPWS is actively working to ensure continued public access to these facilities and anticipates that the matter will be resolved in the near future.
