1914. Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the number of staff, whole-time equivalents employed in his Department on 30 June 2016 and 30 June 2026; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [63354/26]

In 2016 this Department was known as the Department of Housing, Planning, Community & Local Government.

The functions of the Department have changed on a number of occasions in the intervening period. For example, the Heritage function, which is a significant Division in terms of staffing levels, transferred to this Department in 2020. Accordingly, it should be noted that the staff headcount / FTE for the years in question are not directly comparable.
