The detailed information requested by the Deputy in respect of my Department and each agency under its aegis for each of the years 2020 to 2025, and to date in 2026, is set out in the tables below.
As requested by the Deputy, the tables summarise the total number of FOI requests received, the number of requests refused, the number of internal reviews received, the number of subsequent appeals to the Office of the Information Commissioner and the number of those appeals which resulted in the original decision being amended.
It should be noted that data on the number of internal reviews resulting in a change to the original decision is not readily available for the Department of Social Protection as a whole. Data has been provided, where available.
