The Garda Commissioner is responsible for the management and administration of An Garda Síochána under section 33 of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024, which includes all operational policing matters.

The Garda authorities have provided the table below which shows the number of reported breaches of barring order incidents recorded by An Garda Síochána in 2025 and 2026, as of 30 June 2026, broken down by Garda Division. Figures of fewer than ten are not disclosed for data protection reasons. The information contained in this response is based upon operational data from the PULSE system and is liable to change.
