Under Section 15 of the Ethics in Public Office Act (1995), gifts presented to office holders valued in excess of €650 are deemed to be gifts to the State and must be recorded accordingly following valuation through the Office of Public Works.

Since taking office as Minister, I have not received any gifts worth more than €650.

Records are maintained by my Department in relation to gifts of lesser value received, and that information is in the attached appendix for the Deputy's information.

In addition I have listed in the second tab of the appendix all agencies under my remit who currently keep a register of gifts and the number of entries into that register since January 2025.
