I propose to take Questions Nos. 2488 and 2505 together.
I can advise the Deputy that the person referred to applied to renew their current permission on 20 July 2026 and this application is currently in a queue for consideration.
The current processing date is updated every Monday and can be found here: www.irishimmigration.ie/registering-your-immigration-permission/how-to-renew-your-current-permission/renewing-your-registration-permission-if-you-live-in-the-republic-of-ireland/
The person referred to will receive a notification once processing has been completed and, if approved, they can expect to receive the new IRP card within 10-15 working days thereafter.
