Disability Services

2852. Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality whether additional annual funding of €4 million will be provided to a disability service provider to expand day-service capacity, in view of reports that its existing services are at full capacity and that a substantial waiting list remains; the number of people currently awaiting a day-service placement with the provider (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
