Disability Services

2897. Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality if there are plans for a clear and consistent pathway for accessing disability summer camps and day respite services; to confirm how families can obtain advance information on available programmes, dates and daily hours; if regular school holiday and weekend clubs are planned for younger children; the way responsibility for progressing referrals are allocated between CDNTs, HSE Disability Services and service providers; if there are plans for recurring funding of respite and social participation programmes as opposed to one off arrangements; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly.
