On 30 June 2016, the Department of Children and Youth Affairs employed 175.2 whole-time equivalent staff. Over the following decade, the Department's remit expanded significantly. By 30 June 2026, the Department of Children, Disability and Equality employed 659.1 whole-time equivalent staff.
