Deputy Robert O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Health the number of whole-time equivalent specialist staff currently dedicated to Huntington’s disease services nationally; whether there are plans to establish additional multidisciplinary teams, including neurology, nursing, psychology, psychiatry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy; the estimated cost of implementing a national Huntington’s disease care pathway; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
