Deputy Marie Sherlock asked the Minister for Health if the HSE has a clear policy on the use of AI, particularly pertaining to its use during consultations and for the processing of information, health information and data of a patient; the way in which such information is managed; if particular AI tools have received approval for the purposes of note taking, letter writing, and diagnostic assistance; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
