Dental Services

Summary

The Minister referred the request for county-level data on medical card holders unable to secure dental treatment to the HSE.

3246. Deputy Michael Murphy asked the Minister for Health whether the HSE records the number of medical card holders who have contacted it because they are unable to secure treatment from a dentist participating in the dental treatment services scheme; if so, the number of such contacts in each county in each of the past five years; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
