The HSE will provide information on waiting periods for alternative addiction treatment after residential treatment unsuitability assessments.

Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 3314 of 28 July 2026, the average and longest waiting period between period between a person being deemed unsuitable for residential treatment at a treatment centre (details supplied) and that person commencing an alternative addiction treatment or rehabilitation service in each of the past five years; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
