Summary

The HSE will provide information on people deemed unsuitable for residential addiction treatment who did not access alternative services.

Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 3314 of 28 July 2026 the number of persons referred a treatment centre (details supplied) in each of the past five years who, following clinical or risk assessment, were deemed unsuitable for admission to a residential treatment programme and who did not subsequently access an alternative addiction treatment or rehabilitation service; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
