Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú asked the Minister for Health in relation to the HSE’s national environmental health service online portal for registering tobacco products and nicotine inhaling products, whether the HSE conducted an audit to establish whether licences were issued where no valid tax clearance existed; the tax details related to a different person or company; if the trading name did not correspond with the legal licence holder; or if the Revenue verification was unsuccessful, incomplete or not carried out.
