The Minister referred the query on tax clearance certificate enforcement in the HSE’s tobacco registration portal to the HSE for response.

Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú asked the Minister for Health in relation to the HSE’s national environmental health service online portal for registering tobacco products and nicotine inhaling products, whether the need to have a tax clearance certificate was correctly enforced on each occasion by the portal and by the HSE in every application already processed; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
