Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Health the current hub and spoke arrangements between Tullamore Hospital, Portlaoise Hospital, St. James’s Hospital and Tallaght Hospital for neurology and neuro-rehabilitation services; the basis on which patients with Parkinson’s disease are directed to local services rather than tertiary centres; the governance structure overseeing these referral pathways; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
