Deputy John Paul O'Shea asked the Minister for Health the number of patients ordinarily resident in Cork who have been approved for and who have received endometriosis surgery abroad under the endometriosis surgery abroad interim scheme in 2025 and to date in 2026, respectively; the number of Cork patients currently approved and awaiting treatment abroad; the total cost to the State of providing such treatment for Cork patients in each year, including surgery and travel supports; the average cost per patient; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
