The Minister referred questions on the clinical comparability of various lactation circumstances to the HSE for response.

Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health if the HSE considers lactation following breast surgery, relactation following a previous pregnancy, induced lactation in an adoptive mother and induced lactation in a man to represent clinically comparable circumstances; if she will outline the evidence supporting such a position; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
