The HSE will respond directly on whether Mayo University Hospital’s cystic fibrosis unit is designated overflow space during emergency department overcrowding.

Deputy Paul Lawless asked the Minister for Health whether the cystic fibrosis unit at Mayo University Hospital is designated as available overflow clinical space under the hospital's full capacity protocol during periods of emergency department overcrowding; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
