The Minister directed the Deputy to Research Ireland’s publicly available awards database for details of funded research, including any on induced lactation in men.

Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science if any Irish university or higher education institution has undertaken or funded research into induced lactation in men, including the composition, nutritional properties or suitability of milk produced for infants; and if he will provide details of such research. Public research funding is provided through a number of organisations across the State. In the case of Taighde Éireann - Research Ireland, which falls under the remit of my Department, funding awards are publicly available on the Research Ireland Awards Database at www.researchireland.ie/funded-research/awards/.
