The Department of the Taoiseach confirmed to the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation (on 17 July 2026) that it would apply a levy of €550,000 to the Department's Vote (Vote 2) in 2027. When the once-off funding allocations for the EU Presidency and the 27th Biweekly Pay date are removed, this represents 1.5% of the gross estimate provision for Vote 2 for 2026.
