Darragh O'Brien Minister for Transport Fianna Fáil

As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) are an independent body that operates under the aegis of the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (DETE), specifically the Minister of State with special responsibility for Employment, Small Business and Retail. DETE do not receive copies of reports prepared by the HSA.

Similarly, the Department of Transport would not receive any reports prepared by the HSA and the Deputy may want to contact the HSA directly for any further information relating to any specific query.
