Deputy Brian Brennan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance the total amount his Department and departmental agencies have spent in 2025 and to date in 2026 on social media and web advertising; the proportion this is of his Department's advertising budget; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that my Department has had no expenditure on social media or web advertising in 2025 or 2026 to date.

Note: The figures include costs reimbursed to the NTMA by HBFI, the SBCI and NAMA (up to its dissolution) where applicable. As part of a shared services agreement, HBFI and the SBCI reimburse the NTMA in respect of costs attributable to them.
