I propose to take Questions Nos. 733 and 738 together.

Revenue has provided the table below setting out the costs of the Disabled Drivers and Disabled Passengers Scheme (DDS) in 2024 and 2025:

In addition DDS recipients are eligible for full relief from motor tax.

As the DDS is a tax relief scheme which is demand led there is no projected budget allocation made for it in any given year. Projections for VRT and VAT take account of reliefs and exemptions for these tax heads.
