The Office of Public Works recently completed the installation of six ‘off grid’ toilets in the Phoenix Park. Situated at two locations, the Papal Cross Car Park and the car park adjacent to the GAA pitches and Phoenix Cricket Club, these facilities are a welcome addition that will enhance the visitor facilities available to all those who visit the Phoenix Park.

The OPW will monitor the use of these pilot eco-toilet installations at both locations over the next year before consideration of adding additional toilet facilities.
