Summary

Deputy Crowe sought Clare CDNT staffing and Ennis vacancy details, while the Minister referred the service-related questions to the HSE for response.

1020. Deputy Cathal Crowe asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the staffing levels of CDNTs in County Clare; if she is aware that a vacancy has been created within the Ennis CDNT (details supplied); the steps being taken to immediately fill this vacancy to prevent further waitlist delays for children in the region; if her Department has a policy to ensure that the expansion of the education therapy service does not pull existing frontline therapists away from understaffed CDNTs; the total number of staff recruited for the education therapy service rollout nationwide who were previously employed within a CDNT; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this question refers to the service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
