Summary

The Minister referred questions on recording patient harm from delayed ambulance allocation in the National Incident Management System to the HSE for direct response.

Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Questions 57689/26 and 57690/26, given that there is no entry on the National Incident Management System relating to the ambulance service or ambulance allocation, the mechanism used to record and count patient harm arising from delayed ambulance allocation; and if she intends to establish such a field within the National Incident Management System. As these are service matters I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
