National Treatment Purchase Fund
Portiuncula University Hospital received €514,195 from the NTPF in 2024, €311,103 in 2025 and €261,663 year-to-date in 2026 for insourced waiting-list activity.
1320. Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Health the amount of funding allocated to Portiuncula University Hospital through the National Treatment Purchase Fund in 2024 and 2025; the amount allocated for 2026, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [65167/26]

While core scheduled care activity in Portiuncula University Hospital is based on funding received from the HSE, the National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) funds specifically identified and appropriate additional waiting list activity in the Hospital through insourcing.
The NTPF has advised my Department that €514,195 was paid to Portiuncula University Hospital in 2024, €311,103 in 2025 and €261,663 year to date in 2026, for insourcing activity.
