My Department has no direct funding relationship with the gallery referred to by the Deputy and thus has no specific policy in place in relation to the entity.
Ealaín na Gaeltachta - a subsidiary of the state body under the aegis of my Department, Údarás na Gaeltachta - has however provided various amounts of grant funding to the gallery in response to applications from it to promote the development of the contemporary and the traditional arts in the Gaeltacht.
The amounts of grant funding provided to the gallery in the last five years are as follows:
2022 - €70,000
2023 - €77,000
2024 - €107,000
2025 - €107,000
2026 - €107,000.
