Summary

The Minister of State referred questions about dementia assessment pathways and equitable access in South Tipperary to the HSE for a direct response.

1392. Deputy Michael Murphy asked the Minister for Health what specialist assessment pathway is currently available in the public health service to a patient in South Tipperary presenting with suspected dementia or cognitive decline while the Memory Clinic remains unavailable; whether patients can access an alternative memory service elsewhere; and how equitable access is being ensured for patients unable to obtain a private assessment.
