My Department's risk management process is outlined in its Risk Management Policy 2025. This policy complements the Risk Management Guidance for Government Departments and Offices (2016) and the Corporate Governance Standard for the Civil Service (2015). This policy underpins and supports the overall risk management processes & structures within the Department. This includes the regular review of risk registers (Organisational & Divisional). Governance is provided by a Risk Committee that meets regularly & a formal process for escalation of Organisational risks to Management Board for quarterly review.
