The Minister could not provide updated figures on dormant authorised funds but will obtain the information from the Central Bank and respond later.
178. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 289 of 8 May 2025, to provide updated information on the total number and value held in dormant authorised funds, that is authorised funds within scope that have not applied for revocation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My officials are engaging with the Central Bank of Ireland on the matter, and I will make arrangements to provide the information to the Deputy in line with the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann.
