Summary

The Minister asked the HSE to provide details on Arklow children attending primary care appointments elsewhere and why services were unavailable locally.

350. Deputy Fionntán Ó Súilleabháin asked the Minister for Health the number of children resident in the Arklow area who were required to attend appointments outside Arklow during 2025 and to date in 2026 for occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, dietetic services, diagnostic investigations and other primary care services; the locations to which those children were referred, including Wicklow Town, Bray, Rathdrum, Wexford and Waterford; and the reasons such appointments could not be provided in Arklow.
