The State Claims Agency has a statutory remit to manage personal injury and third-party property damage claims on behalf of State authorities.

The following table outlines the transactional amounts paid by the State Claims Agency in respect of claims arising from any delayed, incorrect, missed diagnoses, or misdiagnosis of cancer during the period from 01/01/2016 to 01/01/2026. The amounts include damages, agency legal and other costs, and plaintiff legal costs, and are inclusive of VAT.
