126. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Transport to review an application for the RTSS scheme (details supplied). [66636/26]

My Department received approximately 4,400 applications for support under the Road Transporters Support Scheme, in respect of approximately 31,500 vehicles. As of 4 September 2026, approximately 3,400 applications have been assessed and approved for payment.

The outstanding applications, including the one referred to by the Deputy, have faced delays as they have been identified as containing errors. The applicant concerned was contacted by officials in my Department on 20 August requesting further information. Officials in my Department have been in contact with the applicant to clarify the status of his application.
