Deputy Conor Sheehan asked the Minister for Transport the total amount of capital and current transport investment allocated and drawn down by region (including NUTS 2 regional assemblies: Northern and Western, Eastern and Midland, and Southern) in each of the years 2023, 2024, 2025, and to date in 2026, broken down by transport mode (such as national roads, regional and local roads, public transport, active travel, and greenways), in tabular form. Capital and current investment in the transport sector is reported on at programme level and nationally rather than by specific region, such as the NUTS regional framework.

• Programme D - Civil Aviation

• Programme E - Maritime Transport and Safety
