The Minister requested an HSE response regarding arrangements for skin cancer follow-up safety-netting during the seven-month vacancy of a Cork University Hospital nursing post.

Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health in circumstances where the clinical nurse specialist post responsible for patient communication, coordination and safety-netting at Cork University Hospital has been vacant for approximately seven months, the arrangements currently in place to perform that safety-netting function for patients requiring skin cancer follow-up; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
