The HSE was asked to provide data on diagnostic-test waiting lists, waiting-time bands, wait durations and outsourced scans, following the Minister’s referral.

Deputy David Cullinane asked the Minister for Health the number of people waiting for diagnostic scans and other centrally reported diagnostic tests, at 31 August nationally, by HSE Health Region and by hospital or diagnostic service, broken down by waiting-time band including waits of more than six, 12 and 18 months; and the average, median and longest wait where available; and the details of outsourced scans, in tabular form.
