Patrick O'Donovan Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport Fine Gael

The employment of Diversity and Inclusion Officers in non-commercial state bodies and independent regulators under the aegis of my Department, and the human and financial resources dedicated to the Diversity and Inclusion function, are operational HR matters in the first instance for those bodies and not something for which I have direct day-to-day responsibility.

An Post, RTÉ and TG4 are commercial state bodies under the aegis of my Department and are statutorily independent in the pursuance of their objects under their relevant governing legislation.
