I thank the deputy for his question regarding payments made to the Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) by my department.

Payments were made to TENI for training provided between 2020-2026.

In 2022, TENI’s Family Support and Education Officer provided CPD to educational psychologists in NEPS to support them in their work with young people in post primary schools. The amount paid for this training was €538.84.

In 2023, TENI ran an online training session on gender diversity for staff working in the Department. The purpose of the training was to promote better understanding around equality, diversity and inclusion. The amount paid for this training was €542.18.
