Charlie McConalogue Minister of State at the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport Fianna Fáil

When a sports club seeks a deed of discharge (whether full or partial) in respect of a grant from the Community Sport Facilities Fund (CSFF), my Department requires supporting documentation from the club before it can then instruct the Chief State Solicitor’s Office.

The club referred to by the Deputy supplied the necessary documentation to my Department on 20 October and my officials have now referred the file to the Chief State Solicitor’s Office to progress the legal formalities associated with the deed of partial discharge.
