The Minister said the CJEU ruling was irrelevant to the flight-path review, which would likely follow a final decision on the North Runway Relevant Action.

I would like to begin by clarifying that the 15 October 2026 CJEU ruling is not relevant to the independent assessment of flight paths at Dublin Airport.
As previously advised, most recently in Parliamentary Question 269 of 29 September, I have committed to ensuring that an independent assessment of flight paths at Dublin Airport will be undertaken at the appropriate time. The most suitable point for this work remains unchanged, and will most likely be when a final decision is made regarding the North Runway Relevant Action.
