I am resigning from the chairmanship of the Sub-Committee on Statutory Instruments and Legal Affairs and it is desirable that that position be filled.

I propose Senator Molony for that position.

I support that.

Senator Molony is eminently suited to help us in that very technical job.

I am privileged to take up the chairmanship of that Sub-Committee. I will endeavour to live up to the excellent work of the chairmen of all the Sub-Committees.
