Under the powers conferred upon me by Standing Order 18 (2) of the Standing Orders of Seanad Éireann relative to Public Business, I have summoned Seanad Éireann to meet at 3 p.m. on Saturday, 2nd December, 1972, for the purpose of considering the Offences against the State (Amendment) Bill, 1972.

As I have stated, I summoned Seanad Éireann under the powers conferred on me under my sole discretion by Standing Order 18 (2).
