I have to announce that the Taoiseach has nominated James Ruttle, with his prior consent, to be a member of Seanad Éireann to fill the casual vacancy in the number of nominated members of Seanad Éireann caused by the resignation of Senator Michael B. Yeats.

Féadfaidh an Seanadóir de Ruitéal a shiochán a ghlacadh anois.

Senator Ruttle may now take his seat.

Senator Ruttle was introduced to the Cathaoirleach and then took his seat.
