Order of Business amendment

Summary

The Leader addresses outstanding requests on PAYE rebates and courts legislation, then confirms he will not accept the proposed Garda-related amendment.

Senator Wilson inquired about the delays in the processing of rebates for PAYE taxpayers. I will endeavour to find out the position for the Senator.

Senator Colm Burke raised the matter of the Courts Service. The points he raised can be made when the courts legislation is brought before the House.

I do not propose to accept Senator Darragh O'Brien's proposal to amend the Order of Business.
