Croke Park II debate amendment

Summary

The Chair formally puts Senator Ó Clochartaigh’s amendment seeking a debate on Croke Park II, and the Senator confirms that he is pressing it.

Paddy Burke An Cathaoirleach Fine Gael

I would like to be associated with the expressions of sympathy to the Blaney family. I knew Harry Blaney very well. The family have made a huge contribution to Irish politics for many decades.

I also extend my sympathy to the Barry family. I knew Dick Barry well and the family had the distinction of having a father and a daughter serve in the Dáil at the same time.

Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh has proposed an amendment to the Order of Business: "That a debate on Croke Park II be taken today." Is the amendment being pressed?
