Croke Park agreement talks

Summary

Senator Brennan welcomes progress in the Croke Park talks and commends the unions and Labour Relations Commission.

I wish to be associated with my colleagues who have mentioned the Croke Park agreement. I acknowledge the significant progress which has been made in the talks to date. I pay tribute to all concerned, including the union representatives and the Labour Relations Commission very ably chaired by Kieran Mulvey. I hope these talks are brought to a successful conclusion for the benefit of all concerned in the not too distant future.
