Senators renew the call for progress on the stalled Valuation (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill so local authorities can address property valuations.
I support Senator Cáit Keane's call on the Valuation (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2012. It is very important for towns and cities. We need to get the Bill in place to enable local authorities to address the valuation of properties. Will the Leader inquire about the progress of this Bill and why it has stalled?
I do not understand from where Senator Mary White is coming. The 9% VAT rate has been established as being very important for job creation. It has been widely welcomed and it is not the only measure in the Bill-----
